The Accounting Society is an organization made up of mostly Accounting majors. Our goal is to get students familiarized with the field and the opportunities available for graduates. We try to meet our goal through hosting luncheon meetings with guest speakers from our respective field, by going on various trips to see area accounting firms, and by inviting campus recruiters to our meetings. We try to help students connect with potential employers and internship opportunities. The Society also participates in numerous philanthropic events, helping students meet their community service requirement. On a lighter note, the Society has an annual holiday party and an end of the year party. We also try to put together a trip to Boston annually to see the city, an accounting firm, and meet fine arts requirements.
