The College of Health supports the mission and vision of the university by offering fully accredited undergraduate and graduate professional programs that are grounded in the sciences and humanities. We offer degrees in Nursing (BSN, MSN), Occupational Therapy (MSOT, OTD), and Physical Therapy (DPT). Students interested in careers in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy may enter these programs either through an undergraduate pathway OR directly into the professional program with the appropriate prerequisites. PT students entering the program as a first-year will earn a BS degree in Exercise Science or Health Sciences, respectively, while OT students will earn a BS in Health Sciences or Psychology. The Nursing program offers a BSN degree and several Master's in Nursing (MSN) degree programs.

Husson University and the University of New England have entered into a new strategic healthcare education partnership for the medical, dental and pharmacy professions, that brings enhanced options to both universities. Read more about this partnership by following this link.

Research and Education Center

The Research and Education Center is a state-of-the-art facility where students work closely with faculty to conduct research using high-end equipment. The Center serves as a hands-on experiential learning facility for students in the occupational therapy, physical therapy and nursing programs. Students participate regularly in interprofessional learning activities within these health-related programs.

The Research and Education Center is also home to Soaring Eagles Healthcare Clinic, a student-run pro bono clinic. The clinic offers services to the uninsured and underinsured in the Bangor community. Students provide assessment and intervention in supervised interdisciplinary student teams.
