The Husson Athletic Department supports the philosophy that places highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience of the student-athlete. Students attend Husson for the primary purpose of obtaining a solid education. Nothing should interfere with this purpose. Athletics are a part of education, requiring the student to strike a balance between the rigorous intellectual life of the classroom and the strenuous physical and mental demands of competition. Husson supports student-athletes in their efforts to attain high levels of competitive performance and excellence by providing them with competent coaching, quality facilities, proper and safe equipment and appropriate competitive opportunities with student-athletes from similar institutions. Husson is committed to making its athletic programs one of the finest in New England. The Husson Athletic Department will always be dedicated to the concept that a successful athletic department contributes immeasurably to the growth and development of the Husson community. We will always take pride in the accomplishments of our teams and student-athletes.
