Accounting
Husson accounting programs are built on a common core with options that focus on public or management accounting. Explore the option of a combined major with computer information systems or enroll in a five-year BS Accounting/MS Business degree. Husson prepares students for the CPA exam. Alumni play a leadership role in the accounting profession and provide a network of contacts for graduates.
Business Administration
Husson business students may concentrate in Financial Management, Marketing, Management, Hospitality Management, General Business, International Business, Small/Family Management or Sports Management. Doctorally-prepared faculty bring real-world experiences into the classroom and provide guidance outside the classroom as advisors. Internships in the community provide an interface between theory and practice.
Business & Technology
If you have an Associate Degree from a regionally accredited technical college, you can enter Husson University with 60 credits toward the baccalaureate. Examples of such programs include Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Building Construction Technology, Electronics Technology, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding Technology.
Business Studies
The program in Business Studies is a two-year program which results in an A.S. degree. It might be right for you if you seek a career-oriented two-year course of study and all of the specialized A.S. programs aren't what you are looking for. You can design a program to meet your individual needs and interests, with a mind to transferring into a four-year program at Husson if you choose.
Computer Information Systems
Computer information systems have evolved with our society -- from programming, to software, to networking. Husson's faculty focus on hands-on practical skills in the belief that mastery of the techniques of today enable graduates to remain on the cutting edge of CIS tomorrow. CIS is also closely related to the business, accounting, and education curricula to further broaden career opportunities.
Master of Science in Business Program
The Master of Science in Business Program is a thirty-six credit, graduate management curriculum designed to develop and strengthen skill in analysis, decision-making, and implementation. The program balances strengths in the traditional areas of accounting, finance, operations, and marketing, with careful attention to the development of skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and leadership essential to effective performance in organizations.
