Healthcare Administration and Public Health (Fully Online)
Prepare to take a leadership role in healthcare delivery and healthcare management, population health or healthcare as a business. Husson's Healthcare Administration and Public Health program provides you with the academic training necessary to become a leader, manager and professional in roles that are focused on the organization, structure and delivery of healthcare. You'll be prepared to pursue a career in healthcare management, marketing, research, quality improvement, public health and public policy.

Program Overview
As a Healthcare Administration and Public Health student, you may choose any of several pathways depending on your career interests and desired level of education.
Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration is a four-year undergraduate degree program that prepares you for a professional, well-paid career in healthcare. This program also equips you to pursue further graduate and professional studies.
Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Public Health – Master of Business Administration
If you're interested in a business career in healthcare, Husson offers a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Public Health - Master of Business Administration program that allows you to obtain your BS and MBA in five years. You'll have the option of completing either a broader MBA or a more specialized MBA concentrating in Healthcare Management. You'll complete courses focused on understanding the structure of our current healthcare system, public health, business and healthcare management and health policy. Upon completion of the degree, you'll be prepared for a career in public health administration, healthcare management, healthcare equipment and technology businesses, and health insurance.
THE CURRICULUM
Your healthcare administration and public health classes will focus on both the scientific and business aspects of the healthcare industry. You’ll take classes in public health, healthcare law and ethics, health economics and policy, database design and implementation, epidemiology, global health and more. You’ll also gain hands-on experience through internships, science labs and other experiential learning opportunities.
