ACOTE Accreditation

Accreditation is provided by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). ACOTE® accredits approximately 355 occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant educational programs. ACOTE is an active member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) and is recognized and fully compliant with all requirements of both the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The School of Occupational Therapy at Husson University was initially accredited in 2003 and has been continuously accredited since then. The most recent accreditation review was in spring 2016 for the academic year 2015/2016 and the School received a 10 year accreditation. The next on-site accreditation review will be in 2025/2026.
