Scholarships

Merit Scholarships

The Admissions Office is pleased to announce the following merit scholarships available for undergraduate students entering in the Fall of 2023. There are no additional scholarship forms required and recipients will be determined at the time of acceptance. Admissions applications must be completed by January 1, 2023 in order to be considered. Recipients must be enrolled full-time day students and maintain continuous enrollment to keep the scholarship. Applicants receive highest-level scholarship only. Husson University is NCAA Division III and athletic awards are not available.

Trustees' Scholars Award
$26,000 ($6,500 annually for up to 4 years)

President's Leadership Scholarship 
$24,000 ($6,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Provost's Leadership Scholarship 
$22,000 ($5,500 annually for up to 4 years)

Dean's Leadership Scholarship
$20,000 ($5,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Admission Director's Scholarship
$10,000 ($2,500 annually for up to 4 years)

 


For Continuing Students

The Scholar Incentive Award
Awarded based on academic performance. Full time undergraduate students that have completed 30 credits at Husson will be considered for this academic scholarship. Those that have attained a semester grade point average of 3.4 or better will receive a $300 scholarship and those who have attained a 3.6 or better will receive a $400 scholarship to be applied the following semester. The student must be enrolled as a full time student (12 or more credits) in the semester the scholarship is to be applied. GPA's will be reviewed and awards will be received during the Fall & Spring semesters only. Payment of this award is applied toward tuition in the subsequent regular semester of enrollment.

Need-Based Scholarships

U&Husson Scholarship
Awarded based on calculated financial need. Must be enrolled as a full-time day student to be considered.


Husson Eagle Scholarship
Awarded based on calculated financial need. Must be enrolled as a full-time day student to be considered.


On-campus Residential Scholarship
Awarded to students living in on-campus housing and who have financial need. Must be enrolled as a full-time day student to be considered.

Program-Specific Scholarships

College of Business Scholarship 
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to a program within the College of Business. 

Psychology Scholarship 
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to the Psychology program.

School of Legal Studies Scholarship 
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to a program within the School of Legal Studies.

School of Technology Scholarship 
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to a program within the School of Technology and Innovation or Augmented Reality program.

School of Education Scholarship 
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to a program within the School of Education. 

NESCOM Scholarship
$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Awarded to incoming Fall 2023 students who are accepted to Video/Film Production, Mass Communications, Audio Engineering, or Graphic / Visual Design.

Additional Scholarships

President's Global Scholarship 
$4,000 - $40,000 (The student must provide proof of financial responsibility and be eligible for an F-1 student visa for consideration)

Pine Tree Scholarship
$16,000 ($4,000 annually for up to 4 years)

Harold Alfond Technology Grant

$8,000 ($2,000 annually for up to 4 years while in the Extended Reality Program)

$4,000 ($1,000 annually for up to 4 year while in the School of Technology and Innovation)

International Residency Grant
$56,000 ($1,400 annually for up to 4 years)
