Alumni Board

The mission of the Husson University Alumni Board is to serve as ambassadors between the past, present, and future University community.

Executive Board

President, Ryan Bartlett '15

Current employment: SVP Financial Advisor, Wealth Enhancement Group

Ryan specializes in investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, and generational wealth transfer strategies. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, He works closely with individuals and families to help them align their financial decisions with their long-term goals. Most of Ryan's time is spent partnering with existing clients to refine strategies and navigate life’s transitions. 
 
Ryan graduated from Husson University in 2015, and ever since, has enjoyed working closely with Husson's Alumni Association, where he currently serves as President of the Alumni Board. 
 
Outside of work, he is passionate about the Maine outdoors and spends most of his free time training for and competing in IRONMAN races.

Past-President, Amy Clark '12G

Current employment: Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Haley Ward, Inc.

Amy is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Haley Ward, Inc., a Bangor-based engineering, environmental and surveying consulting firm. She received her MBA from Husson in 2012, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth in 2002.


Amy has a passion for supporting those in recovery from substance use disorder and their families. She has been serving on the Board of Directors at the Bangor Area Recovery Network (BARN) since 2018, where among other things, she helps facilitate a support group for affected others. She also serves as a member of the Penobscot County Jail Board of Visitors, and is a member of the Board of Directors at Health Equity Alliance. Amy joined the Husson University Alumni Board in 2022.


Amy lives in Bangor with her young daughter, Madelyn, and their dog, Bella.

Secretary, Paula Ballesteros '94, '05G

Current employment: Retired Nurse Manager 

Paula worked for 43 years at Eastern Maine Medical Center in various departments as a Nurse Manager. She was a nurse manager for a medical unit; Acute Rehabilitation, Employee Health; Wound and Ostomy; and, Neurosurgery and Orthopedics. Paula has served in the past on the Boards of the Grace United Methodist Church, as past president of EMMC Auxiliary, and, on The Hammond Street Senior Center. Paula is currently a volunteer at My Friends Place and Literacy Volunteers and serves on the Boards of Faith Linking in Action and the Husson Alumni Association. She is also a member of the Husson University Women's Philanthropy Council.
