Important Next Steps

Submit your $250 enrollment deposit if you haven’t already. This will hold your place in the upcoming class.

Filling out and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the first step in applying for financial aid.

Choose from virtual or on-campus visit events to get a deeper look at the University.

Keep an eye on your personal email account for an email with your Husson University account information and initial login steps. Then, activate your Husson network and email account.

At New Student Orientation, you'll gain all the information you need for a siccessful transition to college. During this day-long event, you and your parents will attend sessions to learn about campus life, academics and the support that's available to all students. (New Student Orientation is generally held around the last week in June.)

Beginning in May, students will receive an email to their Husson email address to take a mandatory online math assessment, which will determine which math course would be the best fit.

  • If you're using financial aid to pay for your college education, be sure to submit required documents for financial aid by June 13.
 
  • To make it easier for you and your family to pay for college, you can sign up for a tuition payment planThey are interest-free and break up your payments into monthly installments.
 

Beginning in April, Residence Life will start sending students an email notification to apply for housing online. All full-time, first- and second-year undergraduate students must live in campus residence halls. 

Then, choose the dining plan that works for you. We offer several dining plans, all with dining dollars that can be used for extra flexibility.

The student portal is where you’ll view billing statements, make payments, see your grades, upload important documents and immunization records, and more.

When you attend New Student Orientation, you'll have the opportunity to review your class schedule. If you'd like to make any changes, you can talk to Student Success or your department during orientation.

All account balances (tuition, fees, room & board, etc.) minus any pending financial aid are due in full by July 18 for the fall semester.

Complete and submit your Student Health Insurance Waiver and immunization records by July 18. All students are required to have health insurance. If you don’t have health insurance, learn more about the Husson Student Health Insurance.

Download and install the Eagle SAFE app for instant access to Safety & Security, campus information and resources, notifications about emergencies or weather closings. Once you have the app, use it to register your vehicle for parking on campus. (It’s free!)
