Institutional Review Board (IRB)

All research involving human subjects conducted at Husson University is required to be submitted to the Husson University Institutional Review Board (IRB) for review prior to study initiation.  

Guidance on preparing a proposal for submission to the IRB is given in the Policy Statement and in the instructions for the application form.  These documents and all other documents required for an IRB submission can be found by clicking here. If you have any questions, please contact the IRB chair, Wayne Scott, by phone (207-941-7059) or by email (scottw@husson.edu).  The Husson University IRB will assist faculty, staff, and student researchers to meet the highest ethical and professional standards for the use of human subjects in scientific research.
