Guest Registration

2020 - 2021 Guest Policy

  • To increase safety, Residence Life has modified the guest policy to support physical distancing within residence hall spaces. This is to protect the public health of all members of the campus community.
  • Please see below:
    • Approved Guest(s) : Limited to only resident(s) who live within your assigned residence building.
    • Visitors : All who do not live within your assigned residence building. 
  • Socializing with visitors, must be done outside of your residence building in spaces that allow for proper physical distancing.  These may include the Campus Center, academic classrooms, study areas, library, during Student Activities’ in-person events, outside, off campus, etc.
  • Approved Guests are allowed as long as all of the room and/or suite owners agree to the visit. If approved by all room or suite owners, the capacity must not exceed:
    • Four (4) people in a room in the traditional halls (Bell, Carlisle, Hart) or one guest per resident.
    • Eight (8) people in a suite in the DLC or one guest per resident.
  • Due to room-size limitations that do not allow for proper physical distancing, all persons in a room are required to wear face masks/coverings when guests are present.
  • Violation of the 2020 - 2021 Guest Policy may result in loss of privileges and/or referral to student conduct.
  • The University will continue to monitor public health advisories, campus compliance regarding face coverings and physical distancing, and results from surveillance testing to make modifications to relax, restrict, or suspend, to such policies to keep the campus community well and safe.
