Andrew Moore received his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and his M.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies from William Paterson University. He comes to Husson having previously taught at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Moore has spent the majority of his career working in strength and conditioning having spent seven years training athletes in the private sector in addition to experience coaching at the collegiate level. He has served as a member of the New Jersey state advisory board for the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has spoken at their state clinics multiple times. He holds multiple professional certifications including the CSCS and RSCC certifications through the NSCA. Moore is also certified as a USA Weightlifting coach and has competed as an athlete in the sport of Olympic weightlifting for the past 10 years.

"I strongly believe in the idea that the goal of education should be teaching students how to think rather than what to think.  It takes more than being able to repeat back information to be successful in the professional world and I aim to prepare my students for that reality.  The field of exercise science is always changing and growing and students should be empowered to change and grow with it." - Andrew Moore, M.S.
