Husson University’s Homecoming Celebration Will Feature New Surprises

Husson University will host its annual Homecoming and Family & Friends Weekend on Oct. 2-3, bringing together members of the Husson community for fun and festivities. 

The weekend begins with the Class of 2026 Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday evening at The Gracie Theatre beginning at 6pm. 

On Saturday, campus will be a flurry of activity beginning at 10am with tailgating in the parking lot nearest the O’Keefe softball field and a carnival for all ages will also be held on the softball field, featuring facepainting, games, inflatables, food and a petting zoo. 

Alumni, students, families and supporters can also snap a picture with Husson’s mascot Baldwin at the carnival and around campus throughout the celebration. 

Festivities will continue at Husson’s Winken Stadium at 1pm when Husson football takes on Western New England University. The game will kick off with a coin toss featuring President Lynne Coy-Ogan.

During the game, Husson will debut the Nest, the student section for games.
