Husson University will welcome students back to campus this weekend as part of its annual Welcome Weekend festivities.
The events begin on Friday, Aug. 28 when first-year students move into residence halls. In addition to getting settled in, students will meet with residential life staff, meet their classmates and attend Husson’s Convocation Ceremony. There are also fun activities planned for the weekend to help acclimate new students to campus.
Husson University’s incoming class of more than 1,300 students is the largest the school has welcomed. The previous record of 1,277 was set in 2018.
The school’s Convocation Ceremony is a traditional start to the academic year for new students that welcomes them into the campus community. This year will include new elements and surprises.
Classes begin at Husson University on Monday, Aug. 31.
