Husson University to Host 70 Employers at Spring Career Fair

An estimated 70 employers are expected to meet with hundreds of job-seeking Husson students during Husson University’s annual Spring Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 26. 

The career fair will run from 10am to 1pm at Newman Gymnasium on Husson’s campus and will include organizations in healthcare, insurance, banking, social services, schools, summer camps, hospitality, media and others. All are welcome. Professional attire is recommended. 

Among the employers expected are Aflac, Bangor Savings Bank, Cianbro, Cross Insurance Center, CSL Plasma, Hollywood Casino Bangor, MaineHealth, Northern Light Health, Ocean Properties Hotels Resorts & Affiliates, the State of Maine, United Healthcare, WABI and Waterfront Concerts.

“We’re pleased to provide this dynamic opportunity for Husson students to meet with local and national organizations to network and are excited for the success stories that will come from this year’s career fair,” said Director of Career Services Kate Axelsen Foster. 

During the career fair, students have the chance to meet with organizations and ask questions about their work and available opportunities. The fair is a vital component in helping career-ready Husson students find work in their chosen fields as they approach commencement.
