Husson Esports to Host 24-Hour Charity Livestream in Support of Children’s Healthcare
Published on: November 4, 2025
Husson Esports will host a 24-hour video livestream beginning at 8pm on Friday, Nov. 7 to raise money for children’s healthcare.
The livestream event is in collaboration with Extra Life, the fundraising program of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Donations are used to purchase pediatric equipment for children fighting life-threatening diseases.
The livestream will be filmed live from the Husson Esports Arena and will feature a variety of segments for viewing including video game competitions and demonstrations, an obscure soda tasting segment, and more.
“Events like these show how Husson Esports is really tapping into that community-driven aspect of what we do,” said AJ Kool, Husson Esports coordinator. “Our students really care about putting on events like these that not only are fun for our students, but it’s also having a positive impact on our community and creating a positive change to what an esports program can be.”
This is the second 24-hour charity stream hosted by Husson Esports during the Fall 2025 semester. A livestream fundraising event to support Breast Cancer Awareness was held in October.
The 24-hour livestream can be viewed at https://www.twitch.tv/hussonesports. All proceeds will go directly to Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
