An estimated 65 law enforcement and legal organizations will be represented at the 16th Annual Legal Studies Career Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Husson’s School of Legal Studies organizes the annual event. For students in forensic science, criminal justice, conservation law and pre-law programs, the career fair is a chance to gain insight into potential future career paths and network with industry professionals in local, state and federal law enforcement as well as other legal industries.

School of Legal Studies Director John Michaud said there’s a diverse set of organizations and opportunities that will be represented at this year’s fair.

Police departments from Maine and New Hampshire, the United States Department of Homeland Security, the United States Secret Service, the United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the United States Border Patrol, the Maine School of Law, the Penobscot County District Attorney, the Maine Forest Service, the Maine Department of Corrections, and more have attended these events in the past.

The Legal Studies Career Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 10am-2pm at the Newman Gymnasium on the Husson University campus. The event is also open to the public. Professional attire is recommended.
