Late Nite Catechism is returning to Husson University’s Gracie Theatre for the 5th time on Sept. 27 with a new show. Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice is a hilarious one-woman comedy.

The convent needs a new roof, so the order has decided that Sister (with her extensive gambling experience running the Church Bingo for the last 25 years) will organize a Las Vegas night. Sister will tackle topics ranging from Magicians and Show Girls to live animal acts and the dangers of drive-through marriage chapels.  Don’t forget: What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but God sees everything.

Comic actress Denise Fennell returns for the performance. She previously appeared as the nun in series during the 2018, 2019 and 2021 seasons, as well as in The Bride last spring. Her quick wit and New England roots resonate with the Greater Bangor residents who return again and again to see the next version of the series.

The show is sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank.

Late Nite Catechism: Sister Rolls the Dice will be staged on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $30.00 to $37.50.  To purchase tickets or for more information about group rates, call the Gracie Theatre Box Office at (207) 941-7888 or visit www.gracietheatre.com.
