The award-winning Husson University dining staff has unveiled a new addition to its culinary line-up: a food truck.

Baldwin’s Bites, which will be previewed at an event on campus on Aug. 27 for students, staff and faculty, will soon be selling snacks at sporting events on campus as well as at events in the greater Bangor area.

The food truck, purchased with funding from Pepsi and Gatorade, features a full kitchen and a rotating menu for on- and off-campus events. The truck will also be available in the future for renting at private events.

“Baldwin’s Bites offers a great opportunity to take our culinary team’s expertise on the road both on campus and off. We’re excited to unveil the truck to our Husson community and to get out into the public for some events this summer,” said Vice President of Administration Tom Warren.

The truck is scheduled to be available at the following upcoming locations and public events:

  • Sept. 3 at 6pm for Women’s Soccer vs Bates College - John P. Boucher Field
  • Sept. 6 at 2pm for Men’s Soccer vs Suffolk University - John P. Boucher Field
  • Sept. 10 at 5pm for Women’s Soccer vs Saint Joseph’s College - John P. Boucher Field

“This is a good example of the innovative initiatives that Husson is implementing across campus. Not only will more people be able to experience our award-winning dining, but we’ll also have more visibility in the community,” said President Lynne Coy-Ogan.
