Husson University held its 2025 Senior Celebration on Tuesday, April 29, honoring graduating students for their achievements with a champagne toast and raffles of items they’ll need post-graduation.
“It’s a time for us to get together, chat it up, and think about what we’ve achieved in the past four years,” said Brock Davis, who is graduating Magna Cum Laude with his BS in Audio Engineering - Post Production.
Davis plans to pursue sound design for TV and movies after graduation.
“I got to see people that I haven’t really seen since I switched majors,” said Elizabeth Bungert, who will graduate Cum Laude with a BS in Psychology. She plans to specialize in the geriatric psychological field.
In addition to appetizers, drinks and mingling, the students heard from Director of Alumni Engagement and Advancement Events Christine Mihan, President Lynne Coy-Ogan and Alumni Board President Amy Clark, who all offered well wishes as Husson’s graduating students become Husson alum.
“It was a blast,” said Robert Brown III, who will graduate Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration. He has lined up a job as an IT analyst for Bangor Savings Bank. “It’s great just to talk to people and unwind now that everything’s coming to a close.”
The 2025 Husson Commencement will be held on May 10th at the Cross Insurance Center of Bangor.
