The StudentAid.gov site provides current information on your student loan history. You must have a FSA ID and password to access this site, but it is the same ID and password used to file your FAFSA online.

The Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) provides additional funding for students, including the Educators for Maine program and the Maine State Grant Programs.

File your FAFSA online at this website. If you don't have a FSA ID and Password, make sure that you print, sign and send the signature page to the federal processing center. If you provide parent information, they need to sign as well.

The Federal Loan simulator helps you calculate student loan repayments and explore your options. The "I Want to Find the Best Student Loan Repayment Strategy" will tailor your plan to your personal needs and goals. Please note, that while this is designed for federal loans, you can also use it to calculate interest rates for other loans.
