Biography

Bill Finger, MFA, before joining the faculty here at Husson University, Bill spent over 25 years as an Assistant Cameraman in the Motion Picture Industry. As a member of IATSE 600, Bill worked on such feature films as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Girl, Days of Thunder, Shallow Hal, and Captain Fantastic. He was also Assistant Cameraman to Director of Photography Philippe Rousselot for several films. This includes the movie A River Runs Through It, for which Philippe won the Academy Award for Cinematography.  Bill also worked for many years on different television series, such as Bones, and Dawson’s Creek.

Bill holds an MFA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Outside of his film work, Bill is fine art photographer. His photographs are included in the permanent collections of the George Eastman Museum of Photography (Rochester, NY), The Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

Bill and his wife Anna live in Bangor, where they have enjoyed exploring their new Maine surroundings.
