Biography

Raymond Kennard, PhD was raised in South Paris and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1995.  After which he attended Ithaca College where he earned a B.S in chemistry in 1999. Dr. Kennard returned to his home state of Maine and taught chemistry and physics at Fryeburg Academy.  In fall of 2001, he enrolled in a doctoral program for chemical engineering at the University of Maine.  During which time he began work as a research engineer for a private research company that supported research projects for the department of defense and environmental protection agency.  Shortly after earning his PhD in chemical engineering in 2011, Dr. Kennard returned to the field of education and taught mathematics, chemistry, and physics at several institutions of higher learning in the Bangor area.  Since the fall of 2016, Dr. Kennard has been an Assistant Professor in the Science department at Husson University.
