Biography

Megan completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Maine, including a B.S. in Nursing and an M.S. in Nursing with a concentration in nursing education. Her nursing experience started on a medical-surgical unit, but she has spent the majority of her career as an inpatient pediatric nurse. Megan's passion for teaching began while serving as a clinical adjunct instructor, mentoring nursing students during their pediatric clinical rotations - an experience that inspired her transition into academia. She is also an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International. Megan lives in the greater Bangor area with her daughter and golden retriever.
