Biography

Dr. Jun is an Assistant Professor at Husson University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University in 2019, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. Before joining Husson, she worked as a research fellow (Assistant Professor) at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She published in Health Economics, American Journal of Health Economics, Economics Letters, and BMJ Open. Most of her research interest are in Health and Labor Economics.

She teaches students to think critically about economic principles in the context of the real world by encouraging them to apply the concepts that they learned in class to pursue their own socioeconomic research. She values mentoring students and believes that meaningful goals are like a lighthouse, guiding students through the struggles that they may face while they are pursuing their passions in the realm of economics.
