Biography

Ashlie earned her Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Maine System in 2017 and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity in 2022. She began her career in Information Technology serving a large school district, where she worked as a Technology Support Specialist and later advanced to Assistant Technology Director. During this time, Ashlie developed extensive experience in system administration and network security.

Currently, Ashlie serves as the Outreach Specialist for the School of Technology and Innovation. In this role, she shares her passion for technology careers while fostering strong relationships with high school and technical school educators, as well as guiding prospective students and their families through the opportunities available at Husson.

In addition to her outreach efforts, Ashlie is an adjunct instructor, teaching courses such as IT214: Spreadsheet Concepts and Applications and HE111: Husson Experience. She also serves as the IT Internship Coordinator, supporting School of Technology and Innovation students through their IT internship placements and helping them gain real-world experience in the tech industry.
