Biography

Dr. Thomas received his B.S. in Health Sciences from Purdue University in 2009, his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Angelo State University in 2015, and his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Bellin College in 2025. He has received advanced clinical training and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), ABPTS Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS), Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS), Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT/DN), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Certified Exercise Expert in Aging Adults (CEEAA). Dr. Thomas’ area of expertise includes orthopedic physical therapy and chronic pain. As a physical therapist, he has clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy practice and clinic management. His research agenda focuses on musculoskeletal interventions, clinical outcomes, and educational practices in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
