Current Projects
Project Sherlock
Project Sherlock is an augmented reality iOS application. The application is designed to leverage the capabilities of extended reality to aid in the teaching of crime scene investigation for Husson’s criminal justice students.
iEX Center Preview
The iEX Center Preview project used an interactive virtual meetup platform developed in Mozilla Hubs. The Preview project, launched in October 2020, introduced students, educators, and entrepreneurs across the state of Maine to the innovations of extended reality and the areas we are currently working on at Husson through what could be best described as a virtual conference experience with interacting avatars for each participant.
Project Magistrate
Project Magistrate is a student-driven project that seeks to develop a virtual courtroom environment for mock trials for Husson’s legal studies and forensic science programs. Participants engage in a live, three-dimensional courtroom via internet platforms and use extended reality concepts and technology to create a realistic and immersive environment.
