Faculty - Psychology

Husson University, a private, comprehensive institution of higher education with a professional focus located in Bangor, Maine, invites applications for a faculty member in Psychology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a full-time, nine-month appointment within the School of Science and Humanities to begin in the Fall of 2013. The preferred candidate will hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology and have teaching experience at the collegiate level. ABD’s may also apply. The University seeks a teacher/scholar who will teach twelve credit hours per semester ranging from introductory courses to those in support of jobs in the mental health field (e.g., case manager). The successful candidate will have skills and qualifications to teach other clinical-related courses and to foster relationships for field placements. Additional responsibilities include advising students, serving on institutional committees, and engaging in research/scholarship.
