What is Philanthropy?

Philanthropy is a voluntary action for the public good. It is a long-standing tradition shaped by compassion and community to make difference and enhance the quality of life.

People show their philanthropic support in many ways through their time, talent and treasure to the areas of life that mean the most to them, for example, education.

Ultimately, giving back provides us with a sense of purpose. By making a financial gift to Husson, you help strengthen our academic mission, proving that Husson is a place worthy of financial investment.

How giving back makes a difference:

  • Last fiscal year, which ran from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, we received more than 3,265 gifts from 2,094 generous donors. Of that, we received gifts from 345 student donors!
  • Remember, small gifts make a BIG impact, especially when we all come together to support our community.
