Admissions Office Coronavirus FAQs

General

• Is Husson still open
Yes, we are still open and available by phone, email, text and virtual meeting.

• Can I still visit?
At this time, all on-campus visits are suspended. However, you can take a virtual campus tour or connect with us by phone or virtual meeting.

• Will you still hold Open House?
Yes, this year we’re holding Virtual Open House events. You may register here.

For Admitted Students

• Are the Accepted Student Days still happening
Yes, we’ll be holding our Accepted Student Days as virtual events. If you have not registered you can register now.

• I missed the deposit deadline. Is it too late?
Our priority deadline has been changed to June 1. If you need more time, please contact your admissions counselor.

• I have questions about financial aid or my financial aid award. Can I still speak with someone
Yes! Although our campus is closed to visitors, our offices are open and we will continue to package and send financial aid awards. Contact your admissions counselor or the financial aid office if you have questions about your award.

For Applicants

• Is Husson still reviewing and accepting applications
Yes! We are accepting and reviewing applications. If you have questions about your application, reach out to your admissions counselor.

• I can’t get my official transcripts because of school closures.
We will take unofficial transcripts for the admissions review. If you decide to attend in the fall, you’ll be required to submit official transcripts at that time.

• I am not able to get a teacher recommendation because of school closures
We may be able to waive the letter of recommendation requirement on a case-by-case basis. Please contact your Husson admissions counselor to discuss.

• The SAT/ACT test I was planning to take has been cancelled. What do I do
If you were planning on taking either the SAT or ACT in the spring and are unable to do so because of COVID-19, we will waive the requirement. To request a waiver, email us at admit@husson.edu.
