Health Professions Day Camp

The College of Health and Pharmacy and Walgreens are partnering to offer a Health Professions Day Camp for high school students. This is an opportunity for high school students to experience a hands-on introduction to the health programs at Husson and explore the wide range of career options within the field of healthcare. Throughout the day, students will get the chance to work with College of Health and Pharmacy faculty, current students and representatives from Walgreens, in addition to touring Husson’s campus and state-of-the-art lab facilities.

The Health Professions Day Camp is open to students entering their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of high school.

Pharmacy Summer Camp - July 15-17, 2024

The Husson University School of Pharmacy Summer Camp is held in June or July of each year. To be eligible, high school students must be juniors or seniors during the next academic-year and have an interest in pursuing a career in pharmacy. Applications open in March, with the final selection of up to 20 high school camp participants being notified in May. Maine Media Camp - August 4- 9, 2024

Maine Media camp is a week long summer program, in August, for high school students interested in exploring the fun and fascinating fields of media and communications. Maine Media Camp, held in the George Wildey Communications Center, is a chance to experience an introduction to the fields of Audio Engineering, Digital Photography, Journalism, Marketing Communications, Radio Broadcasting, Video Production and WebMedia.

Students spend one week learning from the professionals in all forms of hands-on media. In addition to media production work, the conversations with media personalities, tours of radio and television stations, students have time for fun and entertainment while making friends with others who share their interests.
