Husson Hosts Hospitality Industry Leader Steve Rushmore for Lecture

Husson University's College of Business will host a renowned leader in the hospitality industry as part of the Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series on Tuesday, November 1st at 1pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Steve Rushmore, President and Founder of HVS, one of the world's largest hospitality consulting organizations specializing in feasibility studies, valuations, and financing will speak on goal setting with a lecture entitled "How to Succeed in Life, Without Wasting Your Time". Rushmore is a sought-after speaker and one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the world on real estate values, with clients in over 60 countries. Rushmore has authored six books and over 400 articles in his field.

The Dean's Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series was established in 2010. Previous speakers include Husson Trustee Robert O'Donnell, Chairman and CEO of the New Jersey Community Bank and world-renowned defense attorney F. Lee Bailey. The series will host best-selling author and physician Tess Gerritsen on December 7th in the Gracie Theatre.

Husson's College of Business is the largest in Maine with 1,400 students. It recently launched a new MBA degree with a concentration in Corporate Management, Health Care Administration, Hospitality Management and Non-Profit Management.
