Professional Statement

Having spent the last eight years in the military I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world and have the experience of working with many cultures performing different jobs. Before the military I spent time working with juveniles in the justice system. I was a case manager for a diversion program for the state of Florida. I also had the opportunity to be a case manager for the state of Maine Juvenile Drug Court. I believe that given the opportunity to work with offenders at the juvenile age offers a great chance to make a difference to the individual which in turn can be relief to the corrections system. It is imperative that people who have a passion for the law enter this field they are the ones that will make a difference.
