Craig comes to Husson with 30 years of diverse experience in finance, operations, customer service and administrative functions. His work has encompassed many types of industries across 15 business segments in both privately owned small business and Fortune 500 Companies such as Nike, Timberland, Honeywell and News Corp in addition to public accounting experience at Deloitte Touche, a big four accounting and consulting firm.

Born in the suburbs of New York City, Craig relocated to New England in 1983 for the quality of life. He currently resides with his wife Kerry and two sons Aaron and Aidan in Owls Head. He has an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. from the University of Richmond.

As a native of Bangor, Marie earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in Public Administration and the Honors Program from the University of Maine. She returned to Bangor to practice law after she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maine School of Law. Today, Marie continues her legal practice on an Of Counsel basis in the areas of federal criminal appellate, mediation and Guardian Ad Litem work.

She began working at Husson in 2003, where she has delivered a variety of classes in over 24 topics ranging from introductory courses through graduate level. She has also presented courses for the Maine State Bar and at national conferences for Criminal Justice teachers and professionals.

Marie completed the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University in 2010 and attained Mastery level of Prior Learning Assessment through DePaul University. Currently, she is pursuing further doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior at the Chicago School for Professional Psychology.

Outside of Husson, she is the Past-President (2004) of the Penobscot County Bar Association (PCBA) and past Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Bangor Ballet. She continues to serve as a Director on the PCBA Board. Additionally, she is serving on the Advisory Committees for Hancock County Technical Center Criminal Justice Program and Biddeford Regional Technical Center.

Having worked with legal professionals, I understand that the key to education at the college level is to learn how to perform the work hands-on. While it is imperative to have a background from text books to learn the law, in order to apply this knowledge, one must see the legal world in action. In both the Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies Programs, I endeavor to find full time and adjunct instructors that bring this philosophy to life in the classroom as I do. One has to love what they do to be ready to do a job everyday and the exposure that students will gain from both programs will help them find that energy.

Betty J. Harris is Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and APPE Coordinator at Husson University's School of Pharmacy in Bangor, Maine. Prior to joining the faculty at Husson, Dr. Harris was Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and Student Services at NSU College of Pharmacy from 2006 to 2011. She joined academia after an extensive career in long-term care and specialty pharmacy care with Colonial Drugs and Pharmerica.

Prior to joining PharMerica, Dr. Harris practiced in community chain pharmacy and worked part-time in hospital settings. She is a graduate of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (formerly Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science) and received her Pharm.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Harris is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Florida Pharmacy Association and Chair of the Policy Affairs Committee for AACP. Dr. Harris was appointed to the ACPE Board of Directors by APhA and served as a member from 2002 to 2008. She served as the 1998-99 Speaker of the APhA House of Delegates and as APhA Trustee from 1997 to 2002, Dr. Harris has served on APhA policy and reference committees. She is a past president and past speaker of the Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA), past Speaker of the FPA House of Delegates, and past president of the Florida Pharmacy Foundation, and has served as a trustee of the Foundation.

David Haus earned his B.A. in American Studies from Penn State University, and he is a graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. He earned his M.A. in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University, focusing on Early American History and Culture. He earned his Ph.D. in History at Bowling Green State University, focusing on 20th Century U.S. Policy History. He has minor fields in Latin American History and the History of Modern Japan.

Before coming to Husson David served as an Instructor of History and Distance Learning at Bowling Green State University and Assistant Professor of History at Bluefield State College. He has held several administrative posts during his career including Faculty Senate Chair, Associate Dean of Assessment and Distance Learning, and Dean of Arts and Sciences. He serves as a Social Studies education program Curriculum Reviewer for the West Virginia Department of Education and a certified Quality Matters reviewer. He is the co-founder and former editor of H-Policy. David designed and continues to offer his Social Studies Content Licensure preparation seminars to teacher education students at several institutions in the United States. The program is designed to help students prepare for exams such as the Praxis II: Social Studies Content Exam offered by ETS.

David is currently working on his scholarly monograph "Radio Is an Extension of the Home: Protecting Private Space from Public Vulgarity, 1929-1935". It re-examines the public debate between commercial interests and educational reformers over the organization and control of radio in the early 1930s. Other scholars have explored this moment in American history, arguing that the National Committee on Education by Radio stood little chance for success because of its own ineptitude before a powerful commercial radio industry. My work attempts to make sense of the NCER’s choices and motivations in the struggle for educational radio while examining the broader implications of the NCER’s arguments on our understanding of New Deal politics, associationalism, gender, and consumerism. I conclude that the NCER was a progressive group that watched the very progressive machinery its members once supported quash its campaign for radio reform and alter its conception of democracy, as federal regulators devalued its expertise and sacrificed educational radio at the altar of the New Deal. However, I contend that the NCER posed a greater threat to the commercial industry than other scholars have found, and it could have succeeded under different circumstances. The NCER fought against the conflation of consumerism and democracy while fighting to stave off what it saw as cultural domination by the East coast, and it compels us to rethink the nature and periodization of progressivism and the centrality of radio in the context of urban-rural conflict of the 1920s and 1930s.

Associate Provost Jonathan Henry started his career at Husson University in September 2012. Jonathan began his career in Enrollment Management almost by accident. After serving as a volunteer student tour guide at the University of Vermont, he was offered the job of Admissions Recruiter upon graduating in 1985. Fast forward to 2012, and Jon -- as he prefers to be called -- has worked for 27 years in college/university admission and enrollment management in Vermont and Maine. Most recently, he was Dean and Vice President of Enrollment Management at the University of Maine at Augusta from 2007-2012. Jon earned his B.A. in Political Science from UVM in 1985, and his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from UVM in 1992. He and his wife Sara, a learning disabilities specialist, live in the village of Hampden and raised two sons who are both enrolled in college in the Portland area. He enjoys biking in the summer, and doing home improvement projects around their 145-year old house.
