Standardized test scores (Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
taken within the past five years, sent directly from the testing
service. (will incllude a link) This requirement is waived for
applicants already holding a graduate degree from an accredited
institution. Above average score recommended except as stated below.
B.A. or B.S. from an accredited institution of higher learning;
3.0 overall grade-point average or better recommended (see below).

M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSCMHC) Recommended
cumulative score on GRE of 1000 or better. BA or BS in Psychology,
Social and Behavioral Sciences, or related field desired.
M.S. in Pastoral Counseling (MSPC) In accordance with the policies of Bangor Theological Seminary
and licensing regulations for the profession, this program requires a
formal criminal background check for all applicants to the M.S. in
Pastoral Counseling program. New applicants will receive more
information on this process once their application has been received.
