Date of Release: February 25, 2014
We are pleased to announce the newest pharmacy organization at Husson University - Kappa Psi!! Kappa Psi – Zeta Beta Chapter was chartered on Feb 1, 2014. We were very fortunate Grand Vice-Regent, Latha Radhakrishnan, collegiate brothers from University of New England, University of Connecticut, and University of Rhode Island as well as graduate chapter brothers were able to attend the chartering and initiation or 27 members of the Alpha Class.
Nationally, our fraternity philanthropically supports the Ronald MacDonald House and Wounded Warriors. For the chapters first philanthropy event we were able to send 30 shoeboxes full of various cosmetic supplies, candy, and more for soldiers to Afghanistan in November of 2013.
Being part of the founding class has been an incredible experience into the journey of brotherhood within Kappa Psi. We began this journey as pharmacy students and now we are brothers for life! We were fortunate to have faculty member Allison Strobel, Pharm.D., as the driving force for establishing the Zeta Beta Chapter at Husson University and are grateful for her hard work, enthusiasm and dedication.
As a growing chapter, we have a lot of exciting events in store! We plan to hold an informational meeting and rush event this Spring. Stay tuned for more information! Until then, if you have any questions about joining Kappa Psi, feel free to contact Kayla Schurman at email@example.com or Charlene Wiegand at firstname.lastname@example.org.
