In order to receive the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice, a graduate from a Canadian Public Community College will have to complete the equivalent of 120 credits, meet all of the Husson University general education requirements, and meet all of the specific courses required for his/her particular program of study. Husson will accept up to 90 transfer credits based on the evaluation of an applicant's transcript. This will include credits based on the completion of the Inventory of Essential Skills. The exact number of credits will be determined as part of Husson's evaluation of your application.
The number of credits which you must complete at Husson will depend on our evaluation of your transcript; but every student must complete at least 30 credits through Husson University, and at least 15 of these credits must be in advanced studies in your degree program. The exact number of credits and the specific courses required will be determined by you and your advisor based on your interests, your transcript, and an assessment/placement exam that you will take after you are admitted to the program but before you register for your first semester. You must attain a Husson grade-point average of 2.0 overall and in your major in order to be awarded the degree.
In addition, you must meet the Husson University general education requirements. Your advisor will determine which of these you have already met through your course work at Canadian Public Community Colleges.
