Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Seeking a Head Men’s Lacrosse coach to work in the Athletic Department with the responsibility of overseeing all areas of coaching, film, scouting, recruiting, academic monitoring, and strength and conditioning. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics. Bachelor’s degree required. Collegiate experience preferred. This position will be full time based upon budgetary approval.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Duties:

This position will serve as the primary coach and administrator for the Men’s Lacrosse program. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, program budget management, recruiting qualified collegiate athletes, demonstrating competent lacrosse instruction, motivation and ability to conduct daily practice sessions, and the willingness to work with the lacrosse program on annual planning, promotions, and recruiting efforts. This position will also implement the basic principles and policies of the athletic governing bodies (NCAA / NAC / ECAC) and Husson University.

A B.A. or B.S. degree, proven experience in playing or coaching at the intercollegiate level, and the ability to work successfully in a highly competitive Division III environment. Coaching licenses or badges preferred.

Working knowledge of coaching both field players and goalkeepers. The ability to work with Front Rush recruiting software, and the ability to prepare and create film sessions with both individual members of the team and the full team.
