Adjunct - English Composition and Communication

Husson University's School of Science and Humanities is seeking Adjunct Instructors for the fall semester 2014 (Sept 2-Dec 19) on the Bangor Campus

Proficiency in the Composition, Communication, or related field is necessary; Master’s degree required; Post–secondary teaching experience preferred.

English Composition and Communication Courses.

The English Department is seeking adjunct instructors to teach the first year composition sequence, Eh 123, 124, and 200. These course focus on preparing students for college-level writing and communication. Eh 123 and 124 provide students with writing-intensive instruction in personal literacy, argumentation, and advanced research. Eh 200 offers students an introduction into college-level literary analysis, with a specific aim of further developing students’ reading and analytical abilities.

In addition to these three English courses, we are also seeking instructors for our CM 100 Speech course and CM 221 Business Communication course.

Class times:
Depends on the section. Courses are typically taught on a Tuesday and Thursday; or Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Times range from the early morning to the evening.
