Students attend Husson for the primary purpose of obtaining a solid education. Nothing should interfere with this purpose. Athletics are a part of education, requiring the student to strike a balance between the rigorous intellectual life of the classroom and the strenuous physical and mental demands of competition. Husson supports student-athletes in their efforts to attain high levels of competitive performance and excellence by providing them with competent coaching, quality facilities, proper and safe equipment and appropriate competitive opportunities with student-athletes from similar institutions.
