Advanced Standing Test Programs

Entering students may be awarded advanced standing to a maximum of thirty credit hours on the basis of advanced placement examinations only for courses directly applicable towards the program of study.  College credit can be earned through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Advanced Placement (AP), the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Department of Defense’s Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support program (DANTES).  Other recognized college-credit granting programs recognized by ACE may also provide a student advanced standing at Husson.  Students are encouraged to present earned credit for evaluation when applying for admission.  Students must submit official score reports or transcripts to receive credit.
