ACOTE Accreditation

AOTA’s accrediting body, the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®), accredits approximately 277 occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant educational programs. ACOTE is an active member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) and is recognized and fully compliant with all requirements of both the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The Occupational Therapy Program at Husson University was initially accredited in 2003 and has been continuously accredited since then. The next accreditation review will occur in the academic year 2015/2016.
