Location

Husson University's primary campus (208-acres) is located in Bangor, Maine, a city of approximately 30,000 people, a short drive from the Maine coasts, forests, and mountains. Approximately 250 miles north of Boston and 250 miles east of Quebec City, Bangor has one of the lowest urban crime rates in the United States. 

Enrollment

We enroll approximately 2,200 undergraduate students at the Bangor campus, with about 700 more enrolled in graduate programs. Our students come from all over Maine, the country and the world.

A hallmark of a Husson education is the individual attention offered to every student. Small class sizes allow students to receive personalized guidance and support from faculty and staff at every stage of their program. The average class size is 18 students.

Faculty

Husson University employs 136 faculty members and a number of adjunct faculty with expertise in the profession that they teach.

Financial Aid

Over 99% of our students qualify to receive federal, state, community and/or campus-based financial aid and scholarships. Friendly and highly knowledgable staff are committed to providing every student with personalized guidance and support in navigating the financial aid process from start to finish.

Academic Programs

We offer 65 undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees as well as a wide range of certificate programs. Several academic programs offer an accelerated learning option so students can earn their degree faster. Follow this link for all available programs and where they are offered.

Real-World Learning

Every degree program places high emphasis on infusing coursework with real-world learning opportunities to enhance student success. Over 95% of students participate in at least one internship, practica or clinical experience.

Outcomes

Approximately 97% of Husson graduates are employed or in graduate school within one year of graduation.

Sports

A member of the NCAA Division III, Husson offers 22 varsity sports and a wide range of intramurals. Our student athletes play and train in state-of-the-art facilities, including the Swan Center & Trott Fitness Studio, the Winkin Sports Complex, the John P. Boucher Field, the Bob & Fran O'Keefe Softball Field, and more. Over 500 athletes participate in intercollegiate athletics with more than 300 students taking part in our intramural program. Husson also supports a cheer team and a dance team. Admissions

The Admissions Office staff provides highly personalized guidance in the application process to applicants for admission to Husson University. Admissions Officers provide materials and applications to help prospective students learn more about Husson, and also invite them for personal interviews and campus tours.

Alumni

The Office for Alumni Affairs, located in the Cyr Alumni Center in the Beardsley Meeting House, serves the needs of Husson's 23,000+ alumni. Along with Homecoming activities, the Alumni Office sponsors events across the country and publishes the alumni magazine, The Ledger, to keep Husson alumni informed about activities on the campus.
