And so are we…

Learning online doesn’t mean that you have to go it alone. With Husson Online, in addition to your instructors and classmates, you have access to one-on-one services that are designed to support your educational journey.  As a Husson Online student you have an entire support system waiting to assist you. We are here to support your journey to graduation and beyond.

Online Tutoring

Husson Online provides free online tutoring to all online students through the Learning Center. The Learning Center is staffed by both faculty and student tutors. Student Tutors in the center are hired based on their mastery of the subject matter as certified by Husson faculty, and are required to carry a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. These tutors are current Husson students who have completed courses with excellent grades and have a strong ability to communicate this knowledge to their peers.
You can learn more about free online tutoring through your Canvas courses.

Mental Health Support

Husson Online provides students with free mental health support through its partnership with The Virtual Care Group. Through this telehealth service, students have 24/7/365 virtual access to experienced crisis counselors and can meet with licensed therapists by appointment. Students can continue meeting with the same counselor or therapist if they choose for continuity of care. These providers can be accessed from anywhere and from any type of device, including smart phones, regular phones, tablets, desktop computers and laptop computers. Support is also available in over 250 languages, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese and ASL.

Accessibility Services

Accessibility Services works directly with students and faculty to create an inclusive learning environment for all students. Students with disabilities may request accommodations. If you would like to request accommodations, please review the procedure here, and schedule an intake meeting by calling 207.992.1934, or emailing accessibility@husson.edu
