Husson Online Internships

Husson University understands the value of an education that gives you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned to your working life. That’s why we’ve embedded experiential learning as part of our courses and degree programs. And it’s why internships, professional projects or clinical placements are an important part of your degree.

Internships allow you to

  • practice what you’ve learned in your coursework
  • learn new skills directly from those working in the field
  • demonstrate your abilities and your impact in a way that often lead to a job offer

Your instructor, advisor and Husson University's Office of Career Services will help you identify and secure an internship and will infuse your course with professional projects so you’ll gain experience before graduation.

Professional Projects

Designed for students who are already working full- or part-time, a professional project allows you to:

  • Apply coursework to a project at your current place of employment
  • Explore roles and/or departments that are outside of your normal day-to-day activities.

Graduate Nursing

Active learning is at the core of our nursing program’s mission. You’ll participate in clinical placements in a wide range of settings, ensuring you have the diverse hands-on experiences you need to become a well-rounded practitioner.

We don’t leave you stranded to find your clinical placement. You’ll work with our clinical coordinator to match your clinical placement with your career goals.
