Biography

Dr. Frail joined the Husson University School of Pharmacy in June 2018.  He earned his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Husson University in 2011 and his PharmD from Husson University School of Pharmacy in its inaugural class of 2013.  He completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME in 2014.  Dr. Frail earned his Board Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) in 2014 and completed a medication therapy management certification through the American Pharmacist Association (APhA) in 2015.  Dr. Frail teaches Introduction to Pharmacy, Applied Pharmacotherapeutics III and IV, teaches various topics in Pharmacotherapeutics (Oncology, Critical Care, Parenteral Nutrition are just a few examples) and maintains an Acute Care APPE practice site at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center where he rounds on the Adult Medicine Teaching Service with Northern Light Family Medicine and Residency.

Dr. Frail’s research interests are in active learning where he is in the process of developing multiple educational video games as well as augmented/extended/virtual reality learning environments in addition to card games and pre-class readiness strategies.  TJ grew up in Rhode Island and enjoys acting, baseball, softball, hiking, video games and Disney.
