Biography

Dr. Howland received his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Andrews University and transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He holds advanced clinical certifications as a Spinal Manipulative Therapist and Certified Manual Physical Therapist. He has over fifteen years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation. Dr. Howland teaches gross anatomy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Husson University and currently serves as the supervisor of the Dahl Anatomy Laboratory on campus. Dr. Howland's research agenda focuses on educational practices in anatomy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and professional behaviors in the clinical setting.
