Computerized Simulation Centers

As a Husson nursing student, you’ll gain experience in simulation centers that provide you with an authentic patient experience in a safe environment, using computerized simulators that replicate real-life patient situations. Our simulation centers include one for birth through geriatric populations and two new, state-of-the-art simulation centers. These allow you to gain assessment, communication, and clinical skills and receive instant feedback. Simulators come with features such as heart and lung sounds, pulses, and the ability to talk and breathe. Blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygenation can all be manipulated with the addition of wounds, chest tubes, IV lines, intubation tubes, and other medical equipment.
