Internship Investment Bank

Purpose
• To encourage educational opportunities for employees within business and organizations

• To provide employers with prospective trained new employees after their graduation from college.

• For each new paid intern (student), corporations and organizations will receive a 500 shares/credit deposit into their account in the “Internship Investment Bank.”

• These 500 shares equate to a $500.00 credit toward the cost of a degree in the College of Business at Husson University.

• Up to two $500 share/credit deposits, for total of $1000.00 in credit may be applied per employee, selected by the employer, and accepted for enrollment in a College of Business degree program.

Benefits

Business, non-profit, and the public sector employers have the opportunity to provide paid internships to students who will learn from and contribute to the organization. Organizations will receive internship investment bank shares for each paid intern they acquire.


Options

The College of Business offers undergraduate degrees within four different schools, as well as a general MBA, MBAs with concentrations in Health Care Management, Hospitality Management, and Organizational Management, and a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice Administration.

Courses may be taken online or in classroom settings. Some courses are also offered in the evenings and on weekends.


Internship Program

The Internship Program in the College of Business offers students experiential learning through spending a semester working as an intern in the student’s area of interest. Students gain experience in real-world professional practice while still under the mentorship of their faculty supervisor.
